Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high-volume data processing, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement fault-tolerant mechanisms including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
• Develop automated infrastructure (IaC) and tooling to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Build monitoring systems featuring custom dashboards, telemetry, and alert configurations to proactively detect failures.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness.
• Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and author operational runbooks.
• Apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure compliance and documentation according to industry standards.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in designing and optimizing distributed systems for scalability and resiliency is required.
• Proficiency in virtual networking is required.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing cloud infrastructure is required.
• Ability to implement advanced security controls including encryption and access management.
• Experience with data plane platforms for high-volume retrieval, storage, and processing is required.
• Ability to perform load testing, fault injection, and telemetry monitoring.
