What you'll do

Design and optimize distributed system components for horizontal/vertical scaling and high-volume data processing.
Build fault-tolerant infrastructure using redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retry mechanisms.
Develop automated tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance.
Create monitoring systems including custom dashboards, telemetry, and alert configurations to proactively detect failures.
Conduct performance testing, load testing, and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness.
Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and author operational runbooks.
Implement advanced security controls such as encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
Manage cloud infrastructure compliance and documentation according to industry standards.

What we're looking for

Applicants must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
Proficiency in Java is required.
