Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high-volume data processing, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement fault-tolerant mechanisms including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retries.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Build monitoring infrastructure including custom dashboards, telemetry systems, and proactive alerting configurations.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness.
• Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and author operational runbooks.
• Implement advanced security controls such as encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure compliance, documentation, and change management protocols.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3+ years of relevant engineering, architecture, or development/operational experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Requires strong experience with data plane architectures in networking devices.
• Requires experience designing and optimizing high-performance network solutions using DPDK and C/C++.
• Requires experience with high-concurrency systems.
• Requires working experience with Linux OSes/kernels, device drivers, performance testing tools, and distributed debugging tools.
• Requires expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies.
• Must possess strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills to work in geographically distributed teams.
