What you'll do

  • Install and configure SAP HANA database systems, including multi-tenant and scale-out environments.
  • Manage system health through parameter tuning, log management, and monitoring CPU, memory, and disk usage.
  • Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies including HANA system replication.
  • Manage user roles, privileges, authentication methods, and periodic security patching.
  • Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and memory pressure issues.
  • Execute version upgrades and apply SAP Notes for HANA, QLIK, and Db2 systems.
  • Troubleshoot system failures and replication problems while providing on-call support for production-critical issues.
  • Configure QLIK endpoints and resolve interface issues between source databases and Databricks.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in SAP HANA and Database administration.
  • Strong expertise in SAP HANA 2.0, Db2, QLIK, and MAXDB database administration.
  • Experience with Linux OS administration (SUSE/RHEL).
  • Knowledge of HANA architecture, Db2 architecture, QLIK, BDC, memory management, and column-store concepts.
  • Experience with HANA system replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Familiarity with SAP, NetWeaver, and SAP application integration.
  • Proficiency in SQL, performance monitoring, and trace analysis.
  • Understanding of cloud-based deployments in Azure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in 24/7 support environments and handle production-critical issues.
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA (preferred).
