Senior SAP BASIS Solution Admin

What you'll do

• Administer and optimize SAP workloads running on Microsoft Azure IaaS, including virtual machines and storage services.
• Install, configure, and patch SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, BW, BPC, and other connected peripheral systems.
• Manage SAP HANA databases by performing backups, recovery, performance tuning, and memory allocation in Azure environments.
• Execute system maintenance including refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and transport management.
• Configure and support SAP Solution Manager 7.2 capabilities like ChaRM, Technical Monitoring, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues such as system bottlenecks, lock entries, and application performance problems.
• Partner with security teams to manage high availability, disaster recovery, and vulnerability remediation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and support standards to ensure operational readiness.

What we're looking for

• Must possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration supporting enterprise environments including NetWeaver, S/4HANA, BW, and BPC.
• 4+ years of experience supporting SAP environments hosted on Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, virtual machines, and storage services.
• 4+ years of experience administering SAP HANA databases, including backup, recovery, performance tuning, and SQL optimization.
• 4+ years of experience configuring and supporting SAP Solution Manager 7.2 components like ChaRM and Technical Monitoring.
• 4+ years of experience with Linux or Unix administration using RHEL or SLES, including shell scripting.
• 4+ years of experience supporting SAP transport management, patching, kernel upgrades, and system refreshes in large-scale environments.
• Experience supporting high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Azure Site Recovery or HANA System Replication (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience configuring SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM) for SAP Rise (preferred).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty or SAP Certified Technology Associate certifications (preferred).
• Experience supporting SAP BTP, OpenText, SAP Data Services, GRC, PI/PO, Redwood, or Vertex (preferred).
