SAP Application Solutions Management, S4 FI/CO

What you'll do

• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for financial systems.
• Drive the product roadmap and governance for SAP AP, GL accounting, and financial close processes.
• Manage the product backlog to improve financial accuracy, automation, and audit readiness.
• Partner with developers and architects to deliver improvements in posting logic, period-end close, and reporting.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Ensure all system modifications comply with SAP guidelines, internal controls, and global templates.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting subledger alignment, period-end schedules, and financial policy consistency.
• Support enterprise-wide finance modernization initiatives to simplify and automate financial processes.

What we're looking for

• 10–12 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or functional lead supporting SAP RTR, AP, or other financial ERP processes.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, including FI/CO, financial posting logic, and close processes.
• Experience maintaining alignment with finance process standards, accounting policies, and SAP guidelines.
• Ability to diagnose system, process, and data issues affecting financial accuracy.
• Agile delivery experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong interpersonal skills to translate business needs into technical specifications for Finance and Accounting leaders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• SAP Finance certifications are preferred.
