JOB TITLE: Application, Infrastructure & Service Management The Application, Infrastructure & Service Management role involves the development and maintenance of application performance monitoring, telemetry, and Event Management systems. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage monitoring and alerting configurations while collaborating with engineering, architecture, and reliability teams. Daily responsibilities include developing API services and SQL scripts to integrate application and infrastructure with monitoring tools, managing hardware and software lifecycles, and responding to audit requests. Required technical skills include J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, JDBC, MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with Linux, Unix, Windows, and Cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. This role solves technical problems related to performance tuning, capacity planning, and cross-functional orchestration of monitoring solutions across Open, Midrange, and Mainframe systems.

What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and manage monitoring and alerting configurations using APM tools.
  • Develop API services and SQL scripts to integrate applications and infrastructure with monitoring tools.
  • Orchestrate monitoring and event management solutions with Open system, Midrange, and Mainframe engineering teams.
  • Analyze problem situations using performance monitoring tools to ensure system reliability.
  • Manage the hardware and software lifecycle and respond to internal risk, compliance, and audit requests.
  • Track and manage projects and resources using dedicated project management tools.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 5 years of related experience.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience in application development, performance monitoring, performance tuning, event management, and capacity planning.
  • Proficiency in API development and programming with J2EE, JavaScript, and JSP.
  • Database experience with JDBC and working knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle.
  • Practical understanding of Linux, Unix, Windows, Cloud technologies, and PaaS governance and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Multi-Cloud technologies like Azure and AWS, and virtual services such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
  • Ability to design, configure, and monitor with any application performance monitoring tool.
