RF Systems 3GPP Integration Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform bring-up, integration, and debugging of advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for satellite communications.
• Architect, document, and execute 3GPP-based testing for satellite-to-ground networks in coordination with vendors.
• Test Doppler pre and post compensation techniques including CFO/SFO in laboratory environments using channel emulators.
• Trade link budgets and verify RF line-up for payloads in both RF and IF configurations.
• Characterize performance, analyze data, and root-cause system-level issues to ensure high product quality.
• Develop test bring-up procedures and automation scripts using Linux, Python, and Bash.
• Verify time and frequency requirements using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other reference equipment.
• Perform verification and integration on FPGA platforms for wireless systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in the electrical engineering field.
• 5+ years of professional experience working in L1/L2 or beamforming.
• Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up, test, and integration activities.
• Experience with verification and integration on FPGA.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Master's or PhD degree with an emphasis in wireless communication systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, and scripting languages like Python or Perl (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
