RF Payload Engineer, Systems & Test

What you'll do

• Identify and resolve systemic RF hardware, software, and networking issues across the satellite constellation.
• Perform root-cause analysis on test failures and in-orbit anomalies to develop corrective actions.
• Define and maintain payload operational processes, procedures, and runbooks for on-station commissioning.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operational burden and improve team scalability.
• Support system-level integration, testing, and verification from lab environments to field testing.
• Execute in-orbit payload operations including test-like-you-fly verifications and real-time troubleshooting.
• Define key operational metrics and reporting to provide visibility into payload health and performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years of RF, satellite, or aerospace industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functionally over multi-disciplinary groups.
• U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (preferred).
• Experience testing satellite payload RF hardware, mission operations, or payload in-orbit testing (preferred).
• Experience developing or maintaining operational runbooks, procedures, or standard operating processes (preferred).
