RF System Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain end-to-end RF system and link models including link budgets and performance trade studies.
• Perform system-level simulations of digital phased array architectures and RF signal chains against lab measurements.
• Define and flow down performance requirements like EIRP, G/T, and EVM to hardware and firmware teams.
• Optimize the RF system for throughput, coverage, and power in collaboration with modem and waveform teams.
• Build reusable analysis tools and libraries using Python, Matlab, or C++ to standardize link analysis.
• Design measurement campaigns with test and calibration teams to correlate models with observed performance.
• Support architecture reviews and program decisions using data visualizations, dashboards, and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers in RF system thinking, modeling best practices, and code quality for analysis tools.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale (preferred).
• Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
