As an RF Design Engineer at Amazon Leo, you will join the Phased Array Design group within the Antenna organization to design and integrate antennas and arrays for both space and ground segments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing over-the-air link models, optimizing antenna architectures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance beams and links. You will use EM and RF design tools like HFSS, CST, AWR, and others to simulate performance characteristics and work closely with calibration and validation teams to define and implement calibration strategies. Additionally, you will support prototype builds and test campaigns while providing feedback on manufacturability and testability of antenna components. This role requires expertise in Linux/Unix environments and a strong background in RF system analysis and lab validation for antennas operating from below 1GHz up to over 30GHz.
