What you'll do

Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance for company programs or subsystems.
Coordinate the preparation of proposals, work statements, specifications, and operating budgets.
Serve as the primary customer contact for program activities and review sessions.
Communicate program metrics, needs, and issues to multiple levels of corporate management.
Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research and development.
Monitor adherence to master plans and identify potential program problems or risks.
Control expenditures within the limitations of the project budget.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
Eight years of experience in project or task management.
Experience with Defense/Government contracts.
Demonstrated experience in a formal program or project leadership role, such as Project Lead, IPT Lead, or Cost Account Manager.
Familiarity with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system like Costpoint or SAP.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required.
Master's degree or PhD in a STEM discipline (preferred).
Experience with Agile Project Management, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), optical systems integration, or PMP certification (preferred).
