Program Manager 2

What you'll do

• Lead all phases of the program life cycle from proposal development through contract closeout.
• Manage program cost, schedule, and technical performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
• Direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet specific program objectives and milestones.
• Develop and support new business opportunities through strategic planning, capture planning, and proposal development.
• Establish and manage program requirements, Statement of Work (SOW), and resource allocation plans.
• Conduct thorough risk and opportunity management practices to identify, mitigate, and monitor program impacts.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to develop new opportunities and ensure contract compliance.
• Manage Government-furnished equipment (GFE) and coordinate with quality suppliers to meet program goals.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or project management.
• 8 years of experience leading tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving requirements as a project lead, integrated program team lead, or cost account manager.
• 6 years of demonstrated success leading teams or organizations to achieve a common goal.
• Knowledge of pricing and proposals.
• Competency in Project Management skills and toolsets.
• Competent in standard Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Degree in a science, engineering, or business program (preferred).
• Experience in the aerospace/defense industry or within the Department of Defense or NASA (preferred).
• PMP® certification (preferred).
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile methodologies (preferred).
• Ability to define technical strategy to promote capturing business in new areas (preferred).
• Active Security Clearance (preferred).
