What you'll do

Manage program cost, schedule, and technical performance for the Propulsion portfolio.
Lead cross-functional teams through all lifecycle phases from proposal development to contract closeout.
Develop new business opportunities through strategic planning, capture planning, and proposal development.
Manage project resources including workforce planning, budget baselines, and Earned Value Management (EVM) tools.
Cultivate customer relationships and provide regular status updates to program leadership and stakeholders.
Oversee contract negotiations, changes, specifications, and compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
Conduct thorough risk and opportunity management for all active programs.
Provide functional leadership and mentorship to a team of eight program managers.

What we're looking for

U.S. Citizenship is required for employment.
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts/customers or aerospace project management are required.
Master’s degree and 6 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts/customers or aerospace project management are required.
Minimum of 5 years of functional and/or technical leadership experience is required.
Experience leading program tasks on schedule, at cost, and meeting all requirements as a program manager, project lead, IPT, or CAM is required.
Experience building and leading diverse teams including mentoring, coaching, and conflict resolution is required.
Advanced MS Office Suite and MS Project skills are required.
Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and Risk and Opportunity Management is preferred.
