Process Engineer IV

What you'll do

• Conduct research, development, and evaluation for cutting-edge semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Develop and sustain new processes to reduce production costs and increase yields.
• Analyze test data to establish process specifications and determine next steps in development.
• Review and enhance manufacturing techniques used in the fabrication of products.
• Coordinate with customers and cross-functional teams to address roadmaps and business challenges.
• Contribute to the design and release of next-generation products for the semiconductor roadmap.
• Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to process technicians during execution activities.

What we're looking for

• A Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field with 6+ years of experience is required.
• A PhD and 3+ years of experience is an acceptable alternative to the Master's degree requirement.
• Equivalent professional experience may be substituted for the specified educational degrees.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process design, deposition, etch dielectrics, or metal films is preferred.
• Knowledge of specific deposition techniques such as ALD, CVD, PECVD, or PVD is preferred.
• Familiarity with plasma physics and etching technologies like RIE, ALE, ICP, or CCP is preferred.
• Proficiency in scientific computing languages including MATLAB or Python is preferred.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and statistical tools like JMP or Minitab is preferred.
