Process Engineer 4

What you'll do

• Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation for cutting-edge semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Develop and sustain new processes and improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields.
• Review and enhance processing techniques used in the manufacture and fabrication of products.
• Compile and analyze test data to establish process specifications and determine development limits.
• Partner with customers to understand roadmaps, process flows, and specific business challenges.
• Contribute to next-generation product development and release activities supporting the semiconductor roadmap.
• Provide leadership and clear direction to process technicians to support execution activities.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Equivalent professional experience to the required degrees and years of experience.
• Familiarity with laboratory work and semiconductor equipment, including surface preparation and analytical techniques (preferred).
• In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) (preferred).
• High proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other scientific computing languages (preferred).
• Experience with statistical tools such as JMP or Minitab (preferred).
• Background in deposition (ALD, CVD, PECVD, PVD), etching (RIE, ALE), plasma physics, or material characterization (preferred).
