Process Engineer IV

What you'll do

• Conduct research, development, and evaluation for cutting-edge semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Develop and sustain new processes to reduce production costs and increase yields.
• Analyze test data to define process specifications and determine next steps in development.
• Review and enhance manufacturing techniques used in product fabrication.
• Coordinate with customers and partners to understand roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Contribute to the design and release of next-generation products for the semiconductor roadmap.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to process technicians during execution activities.

What we're looking for

• A PhD degree is required for candidates with no prior experience.
• A Master's degree and at least three years of related experience are required.
• A Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related experience are required.
• Experience in semiconductor process design, deposition, or etch technologies including dielectrics, conductors, and metal films is required.
• Experience with ALD, CVD, PECVD, PVD, RIE, ALE, ICP, or CCP processes is required.
• Knowledge of material synthesis, characterization, surface preparation, and analytical techniques is required.
• In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) is required.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, JMP, Minitab, or other scientific computing and statistical tools is required.
