The PC Network Support Tech 4 joins the Classified Solutions team to support information system lifecycle activities. In this leadership role, you will provide technical guidance and coaching to a team of technicians while managing the ticket queue independently. Daily responsibilities include performing network diagnostics, resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining asset inventory records, and remediating data spillage incidents. You will collaborate with system administrators and network engineers to resolve complex problems involving operating systems and telecommunications. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Active Directory, LAN/WAN networking, and Microsoft Office Product Suites. Preferred technical skills include experience with SCCM, PowerShell, VMware VDI, and cross-platform awareness of Linux or UNIX. This position operates within a classified environment to maintain secure infrastructure for critical information systems.
Provide technical leadership and coaching to a team of PC Network Support Technicians.
Resolve hardware, software, network, and telecommunications issues for internal and external customers.
Act as the escalation point for complex problems requiring deep OS, server, or network expertise.
Manage user accounts, passwords, and security protocols using Active Directory or similar tools.
Maintain accurate inventory records for all hardware assets in the tracking system.
Execute security procedures regarding the installation, maintenance, and retirement of PC hardware.
Remediate classified or unclassified data spillage incidents in coordination with Security teams.
Perform physical tasks including moving equipment up to 50 pounds and providing on-site user support.
What we're looking for
Must have a High School diploma and 6 years of experience, an Associate's degree and 4 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience.
Must possess a current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.
Must have a Security+ certification or greater.
Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Active Directory, LAN/WAN networking, and Microsoft Office Product Suites.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with government clearance.
Preferred: Associate's degree, TS/SCI or SAP/SAR access, and experience in classified environments (preferred).
