PC Network Tech Support IV

What you'll do

• Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, network diagnostics, and telecommunications systems.
• Manage user accounts, perform password resets, and manage permissions using Active Directory or similar tools.
• Resolve technical issues and answer user queries via telephone and in-person interactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all hardware assets in the tracking system.
• Follow security regulations for installing, maintaining, and retiring PCs and related equipment.
• Collaborate with Security teams to remediate classified or unclassified data spillage incidents.
• Investigate user needs to provide recommendations for software and hardware purchases.
• Perform physical tasks including moving equipment up to 50 pounds and conducting on-site installations.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a High School diploma and 4 years of experience, an Associate's degree and 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
• Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for IT 451 Basic: System Administrator (CompTIA A+ or Network+).
• Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain the necessary security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Associate's degree (preferred).
• 3 years of experience with IT related hardware in a classified environment (preferred).
• Current HW and/or SW Vendor Certifications, Security+ CE or higher, and other advanced clearances are preferred.
• Proficiency in SCCM, PowerShell, VMWare VDI, Active Directory, and ticketing systems like ServiceNow or JIRA is preferred.
