Manager, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Cloud Operations team to build technical capability and foster accountability.
• Manage daily operational execution for assigned applications to ensure work meets service commitments and customer needs.
• Oversee Business Operations Assurance activities to ensure applications meet standards for reliability, monitoring, and compliance.
• Manage incident response including triage, escalation, stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Establish metrics and reporting to measure service health, incident trends, and team performance.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, observability, capacity planning, and improved operational tooling.
• Partner with engineering, product, and security teams to integrate operational requirements into application design and lifecycle planning.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, knowledge management, and on-call readiness for all supported applications.

What we're looking for

• Experience leading technical operations, SRE, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, incident management, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and service resiliency.
• Experience operating enterprise SaaS applications in public, private, or regulated cloud environments.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, observability tools, and operational telemetry.
• Proven ability to lead teams through complex production issues while maintaining clear communication and customer focus.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills to influence engineering, security, compliance, and product stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical trade-offs to executive audiences.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, high-compliance services, or SRE practices at scale (preferred).
