What you'll do

Manage technical engineering for solid and liquid rocket propulsion programs from development through production.
Develop, allocate, and document system, subsystem, and component requirements in a database.
Coordinate requirement verification plans and manage compliance assessment and certification with integrated teams.
Perform functional analysis and coordinate trade studies to define system architecture and objectives.
Manage project risks and opportunities by developing mitigation plans and reporting results to leadership.
Oversee personnel management including staffing, performance evaluations, salary planning, and career development.
Drive the implementation of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and standards across engineering disciplines.
Lead product improvement initiatives and affordability activities for propulsion systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 9 years of systems engineering experience, or a Graduate Degree and 7 years of experience.
13 years of related Systems Engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Level security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, standards, and practices.
Advanced degree (preferred).
Coursework in Systems Engineering disciplines and rocket propulsion (preferred).
Experience with DOORS or equivalent requirements management software, SysML modeling, and MBSE methods (preferred).
Strong technical, team-working, and communication skills (preferred).
