Senior Manager, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary systems engineering team of 10 to 12 direct reports.
• Manage system requirements decomposition, architecture definition, interface control, and technical baseline management.
• Drive the adoption of model-based systems engineering and digital engineering methods like SysML.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve cost, schedule, and technical objectives for T&RF products.
• Support customer engagements, technical interchange meetings, and proposal activities for defense and space opportunities.
• Balance team staffing, priorities, budgets, and development plans across multiple programs.
• Ensure all systems engineering artifacts comply with contract requirements and military aerospace standards.
• Guide integration and test strategies, verification closure, and problem resolution across development laboratories.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field with 12 years of experience, a Graduate Degree with 10 years, or 16 years of experience without a degree.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience leading systems engineering for radio frequency communications, satellite communications, space payloads, or complex aerospace and defense systems (preferred).
• Working knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, architecture development, and integration and test (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate model-based systems engineering into product development or technology roadmaps (preferred).
• Advanced degree in a related technical field or prior formal engineering management experience (preferred).
• Experience with tracking, telemetry, command systems, software-defined radio, or high power amplifiers (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
