What you'll do

  • Serve as the technical lead for the Systems Engineering team.
  • Manage and review the work of direct reports to achieve operational goals.
  • Perform systems engineering duties for multiple complex systems simultaneously.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Execute specialized processes including SSP SPALT, PAD, Coordination Drawing, and Ordnance Document procedures.
  • Work on flight instrumentation systems such as radar, telemetry, and communication systems.
  • Present technical information during customer design reviews.
  • Contribute to and support proposal activities for new projects.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years experience, or 13 years of related experience without a degree.
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance and eligibility for Top Secret Clearance.
  • 5+ years of direct experience working with at least two of the following: Underwater Acoustics, Telemetry, Communications, Optics, and Radar.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing project execution, tactics, and employees within a team.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
  • Knowledge of SSP Systems Engineering processes and procedures (preferred).
  • Familiarity with DOORS requirements management software (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
