The Manager, ServiceNow Platform Administrator serves as a hands-on technical expert within the Platform Services Center of Excellence. This individual-contributor role focuses on the day-to-day health, stability, and security of a multi-module ServiceNow instance spanning ITSM, ITOM/HAM, CSM, HRSD, and ECP. Key responsibilities include user and access management, environment monitoring, platform configuration, and leading planning for upgrades, patches, and release validation. The successful candidate will utilize JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to develop and configure solutions while ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards. The role involves troubleshooting complex integration issues, maintaining system documentation, and supporting the rollout of AI-enabled features like Now Assist. This position ensures the platform remains performant and audit-ready within a complex enterprise environment.
Manage day-to-day administration of user groups, roles, ACLs, and access controls across production and non-production environments.
Lead the planning and execution of platform upgrades, patches, cloning, and release validation.
Monitor platform health in real time to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with corporate standards and security policies.
Maintain accurate system documentation including configuration records, troubleshooting runbooks, and impact assessments.
Support the evaluation and rollout of new platform capabilities, including AI-enabled features like Now Assist.
Provide configuration guidance to development squads and mentor colleagues on platform best practices.
What we're looking for
Must have a bachelor's degree with 4 years experience, master's with 2 years, PhD, or associate's with 8 years, or high school with 10 years.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, development, or technical platform management.
Must have hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS on the ServiceNow platform.
Must have experience managing ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, release cycles, and troubleshooting complex configuration or integration issues.
Must have demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, integrations, and development best practices.
Must have experience implementing platform security, data privacy, access controls, and compliance requirements.
Must have experience managing an enterprise technology platform across its lifecycle, including development, release management, and operational support.
Must hold a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
