ServiceNow Platform Architect

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform security architecture, standards, guardrails, and roadmap.
• Establish governance and control procedures for platform access, security configurations, and integrations.
• Define standards for identity management, including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and privileged access.
• Establish standards for table, record, and field-level access controls and review complex ACL models.
• Define secure patterns for REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and scoped applications.
• Establish secure development standards for JavaScript, Glide APIs, and custom scoped applications.
• Conduct security-design reviews and identify insecure customizations to remediate technical debt.
• Support internal and external audits by establishing documented security controls and evidence requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of IT experience, including significant ServiceNow architecture, engineering, or solution design experience.
• 5+ years as a ServiceNow Architect in a large enterprise environment focusing on platform security, access control, and administration.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, configuration, application development, integrations, data, and security.
• Experience establishing architecture standards, design patterns, governance, and engineering guardrails.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with identity providers using SAML, OAuth, SCIM, or LDAP.
• Experience in cybersecurity, including risk assessments, audit response, or vulnerability management.
• Work Authorization.
