As a ServiceNow Administrator, Senior, you will join the administrator team to manage platform health, perform lifecycle upgrades, and develop solutions that transform business processes. Your daily responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, creating scripts for data tasks, conducting platform assessments, and managing instance security through access controls and auditing. You will also oversee integrations, discovery processes, and proactive enhancements to maximize platform value. The role requires expertise in ITOM, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Service Graph Connectors, alongside ITSM experience in a large enterprise environment. Technical requirements include proficiency with JavaScript, REST APIs, LDAP, SSO, Performance Analytics, and Reporting. You will also handle technical configurations such as database table structures, import sets, ETL, update sets, business rules, UI policies, and ACLs to ensure operational integrity and data maintenance across the platform.
Perform day-to-day administration and manage lifecycle upgrades of the ServiceNow platform.
Monitor platform health and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure performance and availability.
Create scripts in JavaScript to update data, gather information, and complete research tasks.
Execute technical configurations including database tables, import sets, business rules, and access control rules.
Manage instance security by overseeing user permissions, group access, and audit requirements.
Identify and implement platform enhancements to improve functionality and contribute to roadmap planning.
Oversee discovery processes, integrations via REST APIs/LDAP, and data maintenance activities.
Conduct platform assessments to identify technical issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
High school diploma or GED.
5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator in ITOM and ITSM within a large enterprise environment.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations including REST APIs, LDAP, and SSO.
Experience performing technical configurations such as database tables, import sets, ETL, update sets, business rules, UI policies, and ACLs.
Experience scripting with JavaScript as it is implemented in ServiceNow.
Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
Bachelor's degree (preferred); ServiceNow System Administrator Certification (preferred); experience with Agile, Automated Testing Framework, AI implementation, or mentoring others (preferred).
