What you'll do

  • Manage and lead a team of embedded FPGA engineers to develop firmware for wireless communication systems.
  • Oversee the career development, training, and performance goals of direct reports.
  • Create cost estimates and manage budgets and schedules for assigned firmware development projects.
  • Drive team work to ensure the completion of project milestones and performance metrics.
  • Improve and maintain internal FPGA development processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and verify FPGA solutions for radio products.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another STEM field.
  • At least 8 years of experience developing and verifying FPGA/ASIC based embedded system solutions.
  • Demonstrated project leadership and management skills in embedded systems and FPGA/ASIC design.
  • Working knowledge of FPGA/ASIC development and verification processes.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Active SECRET Clearance (preferred).
  • Experience in VHDL/Verilog coding for synthesis (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
