What you'll do
- Troubleshoots user issues related to operating systems, applications, peripherals, and network connectivity.
- Performs system backups, interface monitoring, and other Data Center operational processes as per department standards.
- Ensures initial communication and coordination for Data Center issues until relieved by on-call or management directive.
- Participates in the deployment of client hardware and software, including desktop information systems needs.
- Maintains user access to network application software and supports desktop system network functions.
What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate/enterprise desktop client environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications.
- Experience with desktop deployment technology such as Microsoft SMS, Altiris.
- In-depth programming or scripting skills for client deployment technologies.
- 1-3 years of experience in enterprise Data Center Operations.
- Experience with UNIX console commands, server backup operations, and Microsoft Windows Server.
- Prefer Microsoft Certified Professional designation in Windows and Office.
