Network (VoIP) Engineer Lead

What you'll do

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver voice technology services and Call Center applications.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise voice infrastructure and related network appliances.
• Manage complex projects involving voice and application technologies while providing task supervision for team members.
• Mentor junior technical staff and provide performance feedback to departmental management.
• Install and manage VoIP PBX systems, SIP Trunking, eFax, and e911 applications.
• Maintain physical infrastructure including cable management, network rooms, and data center elements.
• Serve as the primary liaison to vendors for equipment and software maintenance.
• Develop and document procedures for all aspects of enterprise-wide network infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Master level understanding of assigned voice, network, and application technologies is required.
• Programming or scripting skills are necessary to assist in server and client management tasks.
• 5+ years experience with design, implementation, and support of relevant voice technologies in a complex enterprise network environment is required.
• 5+ years experience in the operations and monitoring of telecommunication systems including PBX switches, VoIP, and quality of service is required.
• Experience with Microsoft, HP-UX, Solaris, and Windows client/server-based equipment and applications is highly desired.
• Experience in information systems within a healthcare provider organization is desired.
• Certification in Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft, or other networking technology is highly desired.
