What you'll do

Perform preventative maintenance routines and conduct trend analysis for system operations.
Resolve complex technical problems encountered during system maintenance, upgrades, and support issues.

Configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
Test, document, and provide weekly reports on communication system activities and accomplishments.
Provide technical expertise in radio frequency systems, antenna networks, and packet switching techniques.
Manage and support mission-critical communication systems for government and public safety customers.

What we're looking for

Must live within a commutable distance to Syracuse, New York.
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers and pass a CJIS fingerprint check.
Must possess a current, valid driver's license with no traffic violations.
Must be willing to travel between 25% and 50% of the time.
An Associate Degree in Electronics or IT is preferred, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
Security+, CompTIA, or related certifications are highly desirable.
Requires at least 2 years of experience in fields such as LMR, RF systems, radio communications, networking, or telecommunications.
