What you'll do

Deploy, optimize, and repair infrastructure including public safety loggers, microwave equipment, servers, and network hardware.
Maintain and test highly technical Motorola communication systems to ensure optimal performance levels.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and trend analysis to mitigate system alarms and malfunctions.
Troubleshoot software-driven electronics and provide performance optimization for RF and Broadband systems.
Configure and test networking components including routers, switches, firewalls, and MPLS networks.
Resolve complex technical problems encountered during system upgrades and maintenance activities.
Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments to management.
Deliver technical training and guidance on integrating new tools into team operations.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
Must have a high school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of experience in relevant fields like LMR, RF systems, IT, or telecommunications.
Must possess a current, valid driver’s license with no traffic violations.
Must live within 50 miles of the Miami Dade County area and be willing to travel 25% of the time.
Preferred experience includes P25 Systems, LMR RF systems, networking equipment, and IT networks.
Preferred certifications include FCC license, ETA, or CompTIA Network+ and Security+.
Proficiency in troubleshooting digital/analog Motorola communications equipment and utilizing specialized testing tools like Watt Meters and Antenna Systems Analyzers is preferred.
