Build and maintain secure file exchanges using SFTP/FTPS protocols with PGP encryption for sensitive vendor interfaces.
Manage automated Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) provisioning feeds connecting Dayforce to identity management tools like Okta and Azure AD.
Develop 834 EDI carrier feeds, payroll files, and General Ledger postings for benefit providers and financial systems.
Monitor integration logs, set up error alerts, and resolve payload failures or network timeouts as the Tier 3 technical point of contact.
Perform regression testing and schema validation during Dayforce platform updates and API version deprecations.
Maintain technical documentation including mapping documents, data dictionaries, and API inventories within the IT repository.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of hands-on integration engineering experience specifically focused on the Dayforce (Ceridian) HCM platform.
Proficiency in authoring XSLT, XML, and XPath for Dayforce Data Transformations.
Experience building and consuming Dayforce Web Services APIs (REST/SOAP) and Webhooks.
Experience utilizing enterprise iPaaS tools such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, or Workato.
Strong relational database and querying skills (SQL) for data validation, testing, and mapping.
Expertise with secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS) and PGP encryption.
Knowledge of identity lifecycle provisioning, EDI 834 formats, and banking transmission protocols; Dayforce Integration Specialist or relevant cloud certifications are preferred.
