HR Integrations IT Specialist / Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy inbound and outbound data integrations using Dayforce Web Services APIs and XML/XSLT transformations.
• Configure and manage middleware platforms like Dell Boomi or MuleSoft to orchestrate data movement between Dayforce and enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain automated Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) provisioning feeds for Identity & Access Management tools like Okta and Active Directory.
• Create and audit 834 EDI carrier feeds, banking/payroll file transformations, and General Ledger posting exports.
• Monitor integration execution logs to resolve payload failures, schema mismatches, and network timeouts.
• Implement data security controls to protect employee PII and health records in compliance with HIPAA and GDPR/CCPA.
• Lead regression testing and schema validation for all active integrations during Dayforce platform updates and API deprecations.
• Maintain technical documentation including integration mappings, data dictionaries, and API endpoint inventories.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on integration engineering experience specifically focused on the Dayforce (Ceridian) HCM platform.
• Proficiency in authoring XSLT, XML, and XPath for Dayforce Data Transformations.
• Experience building and consuming Dayforce Web Services APIs (REST/SOAP) and Webhooks.
• Experience utilizing enterprise iPaaS tools such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, or Workato.
• Strong relational database and querying skills (SQL) for data validation, testing, and mapping.
• Expertise with secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS) and PGP encryption.
• Dayforce Integration Specialist Certification, Dell Boomi/MuleSoft Developer certification, or AWS/Azure Integration Associate certification (preferred).
