Head of HR Technology Integrations & Platform Engineering

What you'll do

• Own the HR integration and platform engineering strategy, roadmap, and standards for Workday and connected systems.
• Lead the modernization of legacy file-based integrations to API-first and event-driven architectures.
• Manage the end-to-end governance, security, and operational resilience of over 180 Workday integrations.
• Develop data pipelines and integration strategies to support HR analytics, reporting, and AI use cases using platforms like Databricks.
• Act as the senior technical authority for complex integration issues, API designs, and secure data movement.
• Ensure all integrations comply with enterprise data security, cybersecurity, and regulatory audit standards.
• Lead and mentor a global team of integration engineers and HR technology specialists to ensure delivery excellence.
• Manage disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident management for the HR technology ecosystem.

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, HR systems, or integration engineering.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Workday integration technologies including Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, XML/XSLT, and RaaS.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, API architecture, and middleware patterns.
• Experience with secure file transfer (SFTP, NDM), encryption, and data exchange frameworks.
• Proven leadership of large-scale, global integration ecosystems and high-performing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, IAM, MFA, encryption, and audit controls.
• Experience in regulated industries (financial services preferred).
• Experience with Databricks, HR data lakes, or middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica (preferred).
