The Integration Engineer - Talent Technology Engineering joins the Talent Technology Engineering team to own the Talent HR integrations ecosystem end-to-end. You must possess hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services, Extend, and Prism, alongside middleware platforms. Required technical skills include REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, OAuth, SAML, and proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript to solve complex HRIS data workflows and production integration challenges.

What you'll do

Own the end-to-end integration architecture between Workday and the Talent ecosystem.
Define and enforce standards for data contracts, security, versioning, and error handling.
Lead the full lifecycle of integration projects from requirements and design to deployment.
Write and review transformation logic and supporting code using XSLT, MVEL, or other languages.
Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs for key integrations including latency, error rates, and data freshness.
Lead incident response and postmortems to drive structural fixes for integration failures.
Act as the technical lead for vendors to ensure solutions meet architectural standards.
Translate business flows from HR and Finance into technical integration designs.

What we're looking for

Deep, hands-on experience building and running Workday integrations in production, including Studio, EIB, and Web Services.
Experience with Workday Extend and Prism (preferred).
Strong experience with at least one middleware platform.
Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, and authentication protocols like OAuth and SAML.
Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Proven track record of owning complex integrations or data flows end-to-end.
Strong grasp of HR/Talent business processes and HRIS data workflows.
Ability to design for operability and scale, including metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
