What you'll do

Provide technical support to field engineers and technicians for complex electro/mechanical equipment and software systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning hardware, computer systems, and networked or wireless systems.
Resolve escalated issues that first-line product support teams are unable to isolate or fix.
Report design flaws, reliability problems, and software bugs to the relevant engineering departments.
Participate in customer installation processes and provide training for highly technical products.
Create and present reports on maintenance issues and project status to factory groups.
Develop and update technical documentation for field service engineers and customers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related experience, an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in electro-mechanical system design, manufacturing, systems engineering, integration, vacuum systems, and/or semiconductors.
Proficiency in statistical methods for modeling, multivariate data sets, statistical process control (SPC), and Design of Experiments (DOE).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong presentation abilities.
Ability to perform structured problem solving, preferably using 8D methodology.
Experience with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause-Corrective Action (RCCA), 8D, and 5-Whys problem solving.
Ability to work in a team and build relationships in a multicultural environment.
Lam Electrofill experience (preferred).
