As a Global Product Support Engineer 3 within the Global Products Group, you will serve as the primary technical backbone for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked or wireless systems when first-line support fails to resolve issues. Your daily work involves reporting design, reliability, and maintenance bugs to engineering teams while collaborating with colleagues to ensure high product quality. You will also deliver presentations to customers, provide technical training, and manage projects to improve product performance. This role focuses on solving critical problems within the semiconductor industry by maintaining sophisticated equipment. Required expertise includes handling complex systems and providing expert-level support for highly technical products in a demanding manufacturing environment.
Provide technical support to field engineers and technicians for complex electro/mechanical equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug malfunctioning hardware, software, and networked systems.
Resolve high-level technical issues that first-line product support is unable to fix.
Report design, reliability, and maintenance bugs to the engineering teams.
Conduct customer installations and provide training for highly sophisticated products.
Deliver presentations to customers to address concerns and improve product performance.

What we're looking for
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related experience.
Candidates with a Master's degree must have at least 3 years of related experience.
Candidates with a PhD are eligible to apply without prior experience.
Equivalent work experience is acceptable in lieu of the specified degrees and years of experience.
Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, or networked/wireless systems is required.
Ability to provide technical support for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel.
Ability to deliver presentations to external customers to address concerns and improve product performance.
Willingness to travel internationally 20% to 30% of the time, including potential last-minute travel.
