What you'll do

Decompose and allocate system and box-level requirements into specific FPGA requirements and specifications.
Architect solutions against requirements and implement them across various FPGA technologies and platforms.
Synthesize designs to target technologies while performing constraint-driven place, route, and analysis.
Generate technical documentation including block diagrams, interface control documents, and test plans.
Conduct peer reviews of designs at various stages of the development process.
Perform simulations to verify performance before integrating and testing FPGAs on circuit card assemblies.
Develop procedures to validate hardware and perform hands-on hardware testing and debugging.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, a Graduate degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
2+ years professional experience using VHDL (preferred).
Experience with the FPGA design process and tools used to generate designs (preferred).
Experience generating procedures to validate hardware and performing hardware testing and debug (preferred).
Build FPGAs with difficult timing or routing constraints (preferred).
Experience with high speed memory, SERDES, AD, or DA interfaces (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
