What you'll do

Decompose and allocate system and box-level requirements into specific FPGA specifications.
Architect and implement digital solutions on various FPGA platforms to meet technical requirements.
Develop, simulate, and integrate specialized firmware designs for flight avionics systems.
Lead a team of engineers through coding, simulation, code analysis, and circuit card design support.
Perform bench-level system integration involving hardware, software, and multiple FPGA designs.
Manage the full life cycle development and integration of VHDL into different FPGA families.
Support proposal efforts to define detailed system requirements and manage project plans for production release.
Provide mentoring to junior engineers and troubleshoot fielded products for customers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or no degree and 10 years of experience.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Experience coding in VHDL and modeling algorithms for FPGA-based modules.
Experience with Altera or Xilinx FPGA architectures (preferred).
Experience with high-speed serial protocols like PCI Express, SRIO, and Ethernet (preferred).
Experience with SoC platforms such as Kintex UltraScale+, Virtex UltraScale+, or Zynq UltraScale (preferred).
Active Secret security clearance (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
