Director, Network Engineering

What you'll do

• Define multi-quarter architecture roadmaps for DC fabrics, routing policies, IPv6 strategy, and traffic engineering across regions.
• Lead cross-team design reviews and modernization programs for EVPN, VXLAN, and SDN upgrades.
• Standardize cloud networking topologies including VPC/VCN, transit peering, and multi-cloud connectivity.
• Implement zero-trust security frameworks, policy-as-code, and audit readiness programs to reduce technical debt.
• Institutionalize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and GitOps workflows while tracking DORA metrics.
• Establish SLI/SLO policies and manage telemetry pipelines for capacity, performance, and security analytics.
• Manage the physical network platform lifecycle including planning, sourcing, and sustaining routers, switches, and cabling.
• Oversee team budgets, project timelines, and resource allocation to meet strategic business objectives.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10+ years of experience in network engineering or related fields.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience managing teams delivering hyperscale L3/L4 networking and cloud connectivity.
• Ability to manage budgets and oversee the physical network platform lifecycle including routers, switches, and optics.
• Expertise in designing multi-quarter architecture roadmaps for DC fabrics, routing policy, and IPv6 strategy.
• Proficiency in cloud networking implementations such as VPC/VCN topologies, transit/peering, and load balancing.
• Experience implementing security controls, zero-trust frameworks, and policy-as-code.
• Ability to lead automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
