Director, Network Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure network architectures for banking operations.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of network engineers to foster innovation.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with industry regulations including PCI DSS, GLBA, and FFIEC guidelines.
• Implement robust security measures to protect the bank's network from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers while negotiating contracts and evaluating proposals.
• Develop and implement incident response procedures to address outages and security breaches promptly.
• Monitor performance and conduct capacity planning to ensure high speed, reliability, and efficiency.
• Manage the network engineering budget by allocating resources based on strategic priorities and cost optimization.

What we're looking for

• You must have at least 10 years of experience in Network Engineering.
• You must have at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
• You must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• You must have expertise in networking protocols and architectures including LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and MPLS.
• You must be experienced with Network Monitoring and Management tools such as Cisco and Palo Alto Networks.
• You must have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and banking industry compliance standards like PCI DSS, GLBA, and FFIEC.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, CISSP) are preferred.
• You must be legally eligible to work in the location specified for the role.
