What you'll do

Design and evolve low-latency, resilient network architectures across global data centers, co-location, and cloud environments.
Lead advanced routing design and implementation for BGP, OSPF, MPLS, multicast, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
Conduct deep technical research, lab validation, and pre-implementation testing for major network initiatives.
Lead high-complexity strategic projects from design through execution, producing technical designs, migration runbooks, and capacity plans.
Develop and maintain Python-based network automation for configuration management, change validation, and operational efficiency.
Serve as a senior technical leader by mentoring engineers and driving architecture reviews and design standards.
Define visibility requirements and support the use of observability platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
Support the development of technical standards and documentation for regulatory or audit-facing processes.

What we're looking for

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in mission-critical, low-latency environments.
Deep expertise in low-latency and deterministic network design, including analyzing latency and jitter in production.
Advanced knowledge of routing protocols at scale, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and multicast.
Proven experience building and maintaining Python-based network automation using API-driven and SSH-based approaches.
Experience designing and supporting hybrid cloud connectivity, including AWS networking constructs like Direct Connect and Transit Gateway.
Working knowledge of observability and telemetry platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Cisco CCIE (Routing & Switching or Data Center) or near-equivalent experience (preferred).
