What you'll do

  • Lead a team of technicians in performing hardware deployments, diagnostics, and decommissions.
  • Manage technician performance by monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure all technicians are trained on installation, deployment, replacement, and quality check procedures.
  • Verify that post-execution quality checks are performed correctly and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Lead triage meetings to prioritize tasks and rebalance workloads based on changing demands.
  • Enforce compliance with data center service policies, safety protocols, and equipment handling procedures.
  • Escalate technical issues through appropriate channels and share resolution knowledge with relevant teams.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings and participate in on-site safety committees.

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment, related technology, or working with technical teams.
  • 1+ year(s) experience directing, supervising, or managing others.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including non-standard business hours such as evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
  • 4+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology (preferred).
  • 3+ years’ experience in a production, mission-critical 24x7x365 data center environment (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA, CDCP, or Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred).
  • 2+ years’ experience leading a diverse, technical, or IT workforce of up to ten employees (preferred).
