You will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in data centers, ensuring that fire, life safety, and power systems operate at peak efficiency. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing preventative and corrective maintenance via CMMS, leading small-to-medium projects, coordinating compliance audits, and identifying single points of failure to improve reliability. You will utilize technical skills related to UPS, generators, AHU, and server infrastructure while driving initiatives for cost and energy efficiency. The role focuses on solving critical infrastructure challenges by maintaining high standards for data center equipment design, construction methods, and operational safety in a large-scale global environment.

What you'll do

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center.
  • Manage and coordinate both preventative and corrective maintenance for critical infrastructure systems.
  • Utilize CMMS to monitor equipment performance, assign tasks to technicians, and ensure work order completion.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for facilities-related issues and emergency situations.
  • Lead small-to-medium projects from conception through completion while identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
  • Drive initiatives focused on cost efficiency and energy optimization across data center operations.
  • Coordinate and supervise CE audits and compliance verifications to ensure infrastructure standards are met.
  • Report on critical infrastructure KPIs, policies, and procedures to management.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a High School Qualification or equivalent and 2+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or large-scale server and network deployment projects.
  • Must be a United States citizen as verified by a valid passport to meet legal restrictions for government agency customers.
  • Must be able to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or Technical College Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in critical environment infrastructures or physical IT infrastructures with a degree, or 10+ years with a high school diploma.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience specifically in critical environment infrastructures (UPS, Generator, AHU) or physical IT infrastructure.
  • Preferred certifications include APICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, CCNA, ITIL v3 Foundation, or MOF.
