Data Center Technician Manager

What you'll do

• Lead a team of technicians in hardware deployments, diagnostics, and decommissions.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with service-level policies.
• Train technicians on installation procedures and perform post-execution quality checks.
• Triage meetings to prioritize tasks and rebalance workloads based on changing demands.
• Escalate technical issues through appropriate channels and share resolution knowledge with other teams.
• Evaluate the impact of process changes on service execution and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure all personnel follow strict safety protocols.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
• 3+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment, related technology, or working with technical teams.
• 1+ year(s) experience directing, supervising, or managing others.
• Ability to work shifts including non-standard business hours such as evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass a Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to legal restrictions for government agency support.
• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• 4+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or 3+ years' experience in a mission-critical data center environment (preferred).
