As a Critical Environment Technical Trainer on the Cloud Operations + Innovation Learning team, you will drive technical training delivery, conduct workforce training needs analysis, and manage procedural changes for regional datacenters. You will be responsible for delivering single to multi-day in-person or virtual learning experiences using presentations, discussions, labs, and simulations. Your daily work involves utilizing digitally enhanced instructor-led resources to prepare technicians for local qualifications while applying classroom management techniques like behavioral reinforcement and time management. The role requires expertise in adult learning fundamentals and technical skills related to cloud systems, server environments, and datacenter infrastructure. You will also manage training data analysis and provide feedback on curriculum consistency. This position addresses the critical need to train staff on core infrastructure and foundational technologies supporting large-scale cloud services like Azure, Office 365, and Bing.
Deliver multi-day in-person or virtual training sessions using presentations, discussions, labs, and simulations.
Use digitally enhanced instructor-led resources to prepare technicians for local qualifications.
Incorporate the latest features, technologies, and processes into current learning experiences.
Apply classroom management techniques like behavioral reinforcement and time management to ensure learners understand core concepts.
Monitor learner progress and provide hands-on lab activities to reinforce technical knowledge.
Provide feedback on course content to the broader team to ensure curriculum consistency and relevance.
Align learning preparation with specific metrics such as cloud consumption and survey feedback.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in training, education, critical environments, cloud systems, datacenter environments, server environments, or computer technologies.
Ability to pass a Microsoft Cloud background check.
4+ years of hands-on experience in a technical capacity maintaining facility cooling, electrical, mechanical, life safety, EPMS, BCM, BAS, and BMS (preferred).
2+ years of experience in training delivery and readiness operations or demonstrated project management skills (preferred).
Ability to diagnose or represent training data and anecdotal feedback in meaningful ways through analysis and writing (preferred).
Structured thinking and planning with a bias for execution in operational planning and project management (preferred).
