As a Critical Environment Industrial Control Systems Engineer, you will join a dynamic team of professionals across the Information Technology and Critical Environments spectrum within 24x7x365 mission-critical datacenters. You will be responsible for maintaining ICS availability, data quality, service management, and security for all systems in the datacenter environment. Your daily work involves managing, servicing, and governing electrical and mechanical industrial control systems, including servers, applications, networks, and device infrastructure. You will also govern logical and physical access permissions for monitoring and controls. The role requires expertise in Modbus and BACnet protocols, as well as experience with building electrical systems like power distribution and fire alarms, and mechanical systems such as HVAC and chilled water. Key technical competencies include knowledge of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, Building Automation Systems, and agile project management methodologies to ensure infrastructure reliability.
Maintain availability, data quality, service management, and security for all Industrial Control Systems (ICS) in datacenters.
Manage and govern electrical and mechanical industrial control systems including servers, applications, networks, and device infrastructure.
Govern logical and physical access permissions for all ICS systems, networks, workstations, and servers.
Lead site-level ICS programs and projects while participating in the execution of global initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety programs and policies to maintain a secure culture in datacenter operations.
Provide timely reporting on weekly success metrics and project milestones.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, technology, or science field and 2+ years of technical experience in software, network, service, systems, or industrial controls.
Master's degree and 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in related technical fields (preferred).
1+ year of experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems (preferred).
3+ years of experience in an operational, mission-critical, 24x7x365 facility (preferred).
1.5+ years of experience in the design and commissioning of Industrial Control Systems including Modbus and BACnet protocols (preferred).
2+ years of experience with the operation and maintenance of building electrical and mechanical systems (preferred).
Project management experience with a focus on agile methodologies (preferred).
Ability to pass Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
