What you'll do

  • Create robust, scalable, and secure electrical engineering designs for product features and extensions.
  • Develop technical documentation including drawings, specifications, schematics, and diagrams for hardware products.
  • Select appropriate components by reviewing supplier technical sheets and interpreting device specification sheets.
  • Write design verification test cases and develop automated testing solutions for standard features.
  • Execute test plans and use specialized equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers to measure product performance.
  • Analyze data and statistical results to identify flaws that could impact product design changes.
  • Manage project implementation schedules, track progress, and escalate risks or technical issues to management.
  • Document material details and component specifications through established release processes.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and at least 1 year of technical engineering experience.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and at least 2 years of technical engineering experience.
  • Must be a United States citizen for verification via a valid passport due to legal restrictions.
  • Must be able to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
  • Must be able to meet specific government security screening requirements.
  • Ability to interpret device specification sheets and design documentation including drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Ability to select appropriate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
