Core Infrastructure Engineer I

What you'll do

• Implement distributed system components that support horizontal and vertical scaling under senior guidance.
• Execute performance, load, and fault-injection testing to evaluate system correctness and reliability.
• Build and maintain telemetry systems, dashboards, and alerting configurations to monitor component health.
• Draft and execute runbook-driven incident responses and root cause investigations during operational rotations.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and automation tools for system management.
• Resolve technical issues using automated tooling while following strict change management protocols.
• Update documentation to ensure cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards and security requirements.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates should have 0 to 2+ years of experience in the field.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts is required.
• Ability to perform load testing, telemetry setup, and alert configuration is required.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance principles is preferred.
• Ability to follow change management procedures and security protocols is required.
• Capability to troubleshoot system components and participate in incident response is required.
