The Cloud & AI Principal Solution Engineer joins the team supporting commercial customers to drive adoption of Microsoft’s AI-powered technology stack. What you'll do

Drive technical sales engagements using demonstrations and proofs of concept to influence solution design.
Lead hands-on engagements including hackathons, collaborative coding sessions, and architecture workshops.
Co-design secure and scalable architectures with developers and platform leaders.
Resolve technical blockers and share customer insights with engineering teams to improve products.
Maintain deep technical expertise in AI Foundry, agentic AI frameworks, and cloud-native development.
Manage AI security, Responsible AI practices, and orchestration across the development lifecycle.
Represent the company through thought leadership in developer communities and customer forums.

What we're looking for

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience.
7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
Authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.
8+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience (preferred).
6+ years of experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure, architecture design, migrations, and technology management (preferred).
Certification in relevant technologies such as Azure architecture, cloud platform technologies, or information security (preferred).
Proficiency in agentic AI frameworks, AI management, security, and cloud-native development including Python, Java, and .NET (preferred).
