Key responsibilities include automating compliance checks, implementing monitoring via Prometheus, Splunk, and Grafana, and managing CI/CD pipelines. Required technical skills include expertise in CICS, COBOL, DB2, and JCL, along with scripting in Python or Shell. You will solve complex problems involving financial messaging, data protection, and legacy mainframe cloud transformations.

What you'll do

Manage and enforce security controls aligned with SWIFT CSP requirements across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Support integration between mainframe platforms like IBM Z and modern cloud-based services.
Implement zDevOps practices for mainframe workloads, including version control and automated testing.
Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and enhance encryption and authentication standards.
Reduce manual interventions through automation and runbook engineering on AWS and Azure platforms.
Implement monitoring and alerting across hybrid platforms using tools like Prometheus, Splunk, and Grafana.
Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for production incidents.
Support major transformation initiatives involving system migrations from mainframe to cloud environments.

What we're looking for

5+ years' experience as an Application Support Engineer in financial services.
Strong knowledge of mainframe systems such as IBM Z, Tandem/NonStop, or similar.
Good knowledge of SWIFT-connected platforms and secure environments.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
Experience managing hybrid architectures combining mainframe, distributed, and cloud systems.
Expertise in CICS, COBOL, DB2, and JCL.
Proficiency in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or AppDynamics and scripting with Python or Shell.
Bachelor's degree.
